आज फरीदाबाद महानगर विकास प्राधिकरण के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी सुधीर राजपाल द्वारा इन तीन मुख्य मार्गों के निर्माण की प्रशासनिक अनुमति प्रदान की गई। उन्होंने बताया कि यातायात की सुचारु व्यवस्था के लिए इन सड़कों का निर्माण फरीदाबाद नगर निगम की बजाए महानगर विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने इन सड़कों के निर्माण की प्रशासनिक अनुमति प्रदान की। सेक्टर 11/12, 10/12, 9/12 के बीच की मुख्य सड़क, जोकि धर्मा ढाबा से लेकर इंडियन आयल कारपोरेशन तक 1575 मीटर है। चार लेन इस सड़क की अनुमानित लागत 1055.91 लाख रुपए है।
सुधीर राजपाल ने बताया कि इन सड़कों का कंक्रीट से पुनर्निर्माण किया जाएगा। इन सड़कों के दोनों तरफ सात 7 मीटर चौड़ा मुख्य मार्ग होगा और दोनों तरफ 2 मीटर का साइकिल ट्रैक एवं 2 मीटर का पैदल पथ भी बनाया जाएगा।
दूसरी मुख्य सड़क हार्डवेयर चौक से गोंछि ड्रेन और गोंछी ड्रेन से पेट्रोल पंप तक बनाई जाएगी जिसकी अनुमानित लागत 1209.31 लाख रुपए है। यह 6 लेन की सड़क 1575 मीटर लंबी व 11 मीटर चौड़ी बनाई जाएगी।
तीसरी मुख्य सड़क व्यापार मंडल से सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल से ईएसआई चौक, ईएसआई चौक से चिमनी बाई चौक, चिमनी बाई चौक से मीट मार्केट नेशनल हाईवे 5 फरीदाबाद तक बनाई जाएगी। इसकी अनुमानित लागत 2222.23 लाखों रुपए है। 3030 मीटर लंबी, 4 लेन सड़क बनाई जाएगी। फ्रीदाबाद महानगर विकास प्राधिकरण की एडिशनल सीईओ एवं स्मार्ट सिटी प्रोजेक्ट फरीदाबाद की मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी गरिमा मित्तल ने बताया कि सुगम व्यवस्था एवं आवागमन के लिए स्मार्ट स्ट्रीट लाइट्स, सोलर लाइट्स और लैंडस्कैपिंग फरीदाबाद स्मार्ट सिटी प्रोजेक्ट के तहत की जाएगी।
