फरीदाबाद, 3 जुलाई: पुलिस आयुक्त ओपी सिंह ने आज दिनांक 3 जुलाई 2020 को पुलिस आयुक्त फरीदाबाद के पद पर कार्यभार संभालते के साथ ही फरीदाबाद में अपराध को खत्म करने के लिए क्राइम मीटिंग का आयोजन किया।
मीटिंग में पुलिस आयुक्त ओपी सिंह के अलावा डीसीपी अपराध मकसूद अहमद, एसीपी क्राइम अनिल यादव, के अलावा सभी क्राइम ब्रांच के इंचार्ज मौजूद रहे। सभी को अपराध पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए दिशा निर्देश दिए हैं।
पुलिस आयुक्त ने कहा कि फरीदाबाद जिले के कई किलोमीटर के दायरे में भी अपराधी नहीं होने चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि अपराधियों में पुलिस का भय होना अति आवश्यक है।
पुलिस आयुक्त ने मीटिंग के दौरान कहा कि सभी क्राइम ब्रांच अपने-अपने एरिया में सक्रिय गैंग और अपराधियों को चिन्हित कर उन पर कार्यवाही करें।
पुलिस आयुक्त ने कहा कि फरीदाबाद शहर में अपराध एवं अपराधियों के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि फरीदाबाद शहर में अपराध को रोकने के लिए प्रत्येक उचित प्रयास किए जाएंगे।
पुलिस आयुक्त ने कहा कि जनता और पुलिस में आपस का भाईचारा अच्छा होना चाहिए ताकि हो रहे अपराध के बारे में जनता के द्वारा पुलिस को सही समय पर इंफॉर्मेशन मिल सकें ताकि अपराधियों पर तुरंत नकेल कसी जा सके।
नवनियुक्त पुलिस आयुक्त महोदय के फरीदाबाद आगमन पर, उनको पुलिस आयुक्त कार्यालय में गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर दिया गया।
डीसीपी मुख्यालय राजेश दुग्गल, डीसीपी एनआईटी अर्पित जैन, डीसीपी बल्लभगढ़ मकसूद अहमद, डीसीपी सेंट्रल मुकेश मल्होत्रा, डीसीपी ट्रैफिक सुरेश कुमार ने उनका स्वागत किया।
इस मौके पर एसीपी हेड क्वार्टर आदर्शदीप सिंह, एसीपी राजीव कुमार के अलावा एसीपी गजेंद्र सिंह, एसीपी सुखबीर सिंह, एसीपी जयवीर सिंह, एसीपी क्राइम अनिल यादव, एसीपी धारणा यादव, एसीपी मोजीराम राम, एसीपी पृथ्वी सिंह, एसीपी सत्यपाल, एसीपी जयपाल, एसीपी रमेश गुलिया मौजूद रहे।
अतिरिक्त पुलिस महानिदेशक ओमप्रकाश सिंह 1992 बैच, हरियाणा केडर के वरिष्ठ आईपीएस अधिकारी हैं। पुलिस आयुक्त महोदय उत्कृष्ट कार्यों के लिए 2008 में पुलिस मेडल और 2017 में प्रतिष्ठित सेवा के लिए प्रेसिडेंट पुलिस मेडल से नवाजे जा चुके हैं।
सीएम ऑफिस में तैनात रह चुके हैं ओपी सिंह
ओपी सिंह मुख्यमंत्री के कार्यालय में विशेष सलाहकार रहे हैं और कम्युनिटी पुलिसिंग और राहगिरी के अलावा स्पोर्ट्स डायरेक्टर के पद पर तैनात थे, जो हाल ही में हुए स्थानांतरण पर फरीदाबाद के पुलिस आयुक्त नियुक्त किए गए हैं।
