आज डीसीपी मुख्यालय राजेश दुग्गल ने अपने कार्यालय में सीसीटीवी कैमरा शहर में इंस्टॉल करने वाली कंपनी CCC ( Integrated control command centre) के अधिकारियों के साथ मीटिंग की है।
राजेश दुग्गल डीसीपी मुख्यालय ने बताया कि फरीदाबाद शहर में 71 जगहों पर करीब 700 कैमरा लगाए जा चुके हैं। यह कैमरा फरीदाबाद शहर के मुख्य चौराहे के अलावा शहर के अन्य हिस्सों में लगाए गए हैं।
ट्रैफिक नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ कार्यवाही करते हुए सीसीटीवी कैमरे के द्वारा पुलिस ने पोस्टल चालान घर भेजने शुरू कर दिए हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि सीसीटीवी कैमरा के द्वारा अपराध पर भी लगाम लगाई जा सकेगी। क्योंकि यातायात के अलावा यह कैमरा संदिग्ध व्यक्ति एवं अपराधियों पर भी नजर रखेंगे।
सीसीटीवी कैमरा का कंट्रोल रूम एनआईटी एरिया में बनाया गया है जिसमें पुलिसकर्मी लगातार मॉनिटर करते हैं।
राजेश दुग्गल ने बताया कि सीट बेल्ट, जेबरा क्रॉसिंग, रेड लाइट क्रॉसिंग, रॉन्ग साइड ड्राइविंग के तहत चालान उल्लंघन करने वालों के घर भेजे जा रहे हैं। इसके अलावा अपराधिक गतिविधियों पर भी नजर रखी जा रही है।
