फरीदाबाद: पुलिस कमिश्नर श्री ओ पी सिंह के दिशा निर्देशों पर काम करते हुए क्राईम ब्रांच बदरपुर बॉर्डर ने हरियाणा के विभिन्न जिलों तथा साथ लगते राज्यों में चोरी की विभिन्न वारदातों को अंजाम देने के जुर्म में शातिर वाहन चोर को गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता हासिल की है।
आरोपी की पहचान नूंह जिले के गांव सीहरी के रहने वाले अली जान के रूप में हुई है जिसकी उम्र लगभग 28 वर्ष है।
आरोपी ने पूछताछ में बताया कि पिछले 15 साल से वह चोरी की वारदातों को अंजाम दे रहा है और चोरी करना अब आदत के साथ साथ उसका पेशा बन चुका है।
क्राइम ब्रांच प्रभारी इंस्पेक्टर सेठी मलिक ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि दिनांक 23 अगस्त को थाना सराय क्षेत्र में आरोपी अलीजान किसी चोरी की वारदात को अंजाम देने की फिराक में था।
गुप्त सूत्रों ने इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी जिस पर तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए क्राइम ब्रांच बदरपुर की टीम मौके पर पहुंची आरोपी ने पुलिस से बचने की बहुत कोशिश की परंतु क्राइम ब्रांच ने आरोपी के भागने के सारे रास्ते बंद कर दिए और उसे अवैध देसी कट्टे सहित हिरासत में ले लिया।
आरोपी के खिलाफ थाना सराय ख्वाजा में अवैध हथियार की धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज करके उसे अदालत में पेश करके 6 दिन के पुलिस रिमांड पर लिया गया।
आरोपी ने पूछताछ में बताया कि वह शराब का सेवन करने का आदी है और अपनी रोजी-रोटी चलाने के लिए उसने फरीदाबाद में 5, गुड़गांव में 19, नूह/पलवल/रेवाड़ी तथा उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद और दिल्ली में चोरी की 1-1 वारदात को अंजाम दिया है।
आरोपी पिछले 15 साल से चोरी की वारदातों को अंजाम दे रहा है। आरोपी पर आसपास के सभी स्थानों पर लगभग 30 मुकदमे दर्ज हैं।
इसके अलावा आरोपी पर फरीदाबाद में दो अवैध हथियार के मामले भी दर्ज हैं।
आरोपी फरीदाबाद में वाहन चोरी की वारदातों को अंजाम देता था इसके निशाने पर मुख्यतः स्प्लेंडर डीलक्स और अपाचे मोटरसाइकिल रहती थी क्योंकि इनका लोग आसानी से खुल जाता है। आरोपी सुनसान जगह पर खड़ी मोटरसाइकिल को आसानी से चोरी करके गायब हो जाता था।
चोरी करने के पश्चात आरोपी मोटरसाइकिल को नूंह तथा राजस्थान में बेच देता था।
उक्त मामलों में आरोपी के कब्जे से तीन मोटरसाइकिल और एक स्कूटी बरामद की गई है।
क्राइम ब्रांच प्रभारी ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि सभी थानों और कंट्रोल रूम को आरोपी के बारे में सूचना भेज दी गई है इसके अलावा अन्य जिलो व राज्यों को भी आरोपी के बारे में सूचित किया गया है।
पूछताछ पूरी होने के पश्चात आरोपी को अदालत में दोबारा पेश करके जेल भेज दिया गया है।
