25 जून को Crime Branch DLF Faridabad को गुप्त सूचना मिली कि सराय ख़्वाजा थानाक्षेत्र स्थित सुभाषनगर की झुग्गियों में चोरी-छिपे एक व्यक्ति बड़ी मात्रा में गाँजा इकट्ठा कर उसकी छोटी-छोटी पुड़िया नशा करने वालों को बेच रहा है।
सूचना मिलते ही प्रभारी Crime Branch DLF Faridabad सब इंस्पेक्टर अनिल ने तुरंत एक्शन लेते हुए एसआई प्रेम प्रकाश, एसआई मोहम्मद उमर, एएसआई समुंदर सिंह, एएसआई राजवीर, मुख्य सिपाही आनंद, मुख्य सिपाही कुलदीप, सिपाही अनिल, नकुल, सुरेंदर, नितिन, की टीम गठित कर उक्त स्थान के लिए रवाना हो गई।
पुलिस ने रणनीति बनाते हुए गाँजा विक्रेता की घेराबंदी कर ली। पुलिस को देखते ही गाँजा विक्रेता आरोपी संदीप भागने की तैयारी करने लगा। लेकिन पुलिस के आगे आरोपी की एक ना चली और पुलिस ने उसे 4 किलो 500 ग्राम गाँजा समेत गिरफ्तार कर लिया। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार में, आरोपी से बरामद गाँजा का मूल्य 5 से 6 लाख रूपये बताया जा रहा है।
आरोपी संदीप की निशानदेही पर क्राइम ब्रांच की पुलिस टीम ने कोतवाली थानाक्षेत्र के पाकिस्तानी मोहल्ला में एक व्यक्ति द्वारा प्रतिबंधित नशीली सामग्री बेचने के आरोप में लगभग 3 किलो 200 ग्राम गाँजा के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है।
गिरफ्तार आरोपी ने अपना नाम सागर बताया। बरामद गाँजा की कीमत लगभग 4 से 5 लाख रूपये हैं।
दोनो आरोपियों के विरूद्ध एनडीपीएस एक्ट की धाराओं के तहत थाना कोतवाली और थाना सराय ख्वाजा में अलग-अलग मुकदमा दर्ज करते हुए उससे पूछताछ की गयी।
पूछताछ करने पर पुलिस को पता चला कि संदीप, बिहार के सिवान जिला का निवासी है तथा नशीले पदार्थ बेचने के आरोप में पहले भी जेल जा चुका है।
सागर स्थायी रूप से फरीदाबाद का रहने वाला है और नशीली वस्तु बिक्री करने के आरोप मे पहले दो बार जेल गया है। दोनों ही आरोपी जमानत पर जेल से बाहर आकर नशीली चीजों का व्यापार कर रहे थे।
दोनों आरोपियों को पुलिस ने न्यायालय मे प्रस्तुत कर जेल भेज दिया है।
