फरीदाबाद, 6 जनवरी: हरियाणा में बर्ड फ़्लू बीमारी ने हाहाकार मचा दिया है, करीब 4 लाख मुर्गियां इस बीमारी से तड़प कर मारी हैं, इसके अलावा अनगिनत पक्षी भी मर गए हैं जिसके बाद सरकार भी हरकत में आयी है और चिकन खाने वालों के लिए एडवाइजरी जारी की गयी है.
हरियाणा सरकार के पशुपालन एवं डेयरी विभाग ने पोल्ट्री या पोल्ट्री उत्पादों के बारे में एडवाइजरी जारी की है। एक सरकारी प्रवक्ता ने इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए कहा है कि विभाग की ओर से जो एडवाइजरी जारी की गई है उसमें सलाह दी गई है कि उपभोक्ता पोल्ट्री या पोल्ट्री उत्पादों को अच्छी तरह से पकाकर खाएं।
उन्होंने बताया कि पशुपालन एवं डेयरी विभाग को सूचना मिली है कि पिछले दस दिनों में पंचकूला जिला के बरवाला क्षेत्र में गांव गढ़ी कुटाह और गांव जलोली के पास 20 पोल्ट्री फार्मों में पिछले दस दिनों में करीब चार लाख मुर्गियों की असामान्य मौत हुई है। वहां से नमूने एकत्र किए गए और क्षेत्रीय रोग निदान प्रयोगशाला (आरडीडीएल) जालंधर को भेजे गए जहां से रिपोर्ट का अभी इंतजार है। वैसे भी वर्तमान में आरडीडीएल की टीम भी मुर्गियों के नमूने के लिए पुन: बरवाला क्षेत्र में पहुंच गई है। अभी तक एवियन इन्फ्लुएंजा की कोई पुष्टि नहीं हुई है। आशंका जताई गई है कि संदिग्ध बीमारियां रानीखेत या संक्रामक लारेंजो-ट्रैक्टिस भी हो सकती हैं।
प्रवक्ता के अनुसार पंचकूला जिला में पोल्ट्री फार्मों में मुर्गियों की कुल संख्या 77,87,450 है जबकि 4,09,970 की मौत हुई है। उन्होंने बताया कि हालांकि पिछले महीनों की तुलना में पोल्ट्री की मृत्यु दर वर्तमान में अधिक है। उन्होंने एडवाइजरी का हवाला देते हुए बताया कि पशुपालन एवं डेयरी विभाग ने एवियन इन्फ्लूएंजा के मामले में पोल्ट्री की खपत के बारे में एक मानक सलाह दी है, जिसमें बताया गया है कि रोग मुक्त क्षेत्रों में पोल्ट्री और पोल्ट्री उत्पादों को सही तरीके से पकाकर खाया जा सकता है। एवियन इन्फ्लूएंजा वायरस गर्मी के प्रति संवेदनशील है। भारत में खाना पकाने के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाला सामान्य तापमान (भोजन के सभी भागों के लिए 70 डिग्री सेल्सियस) वायरस को मार सकता है। पोल्ट्री का उपभोग करने से पहले उपभोक्ताओं को यह सुनिश्चित करने की आवश्यकता है कि पोल्ट्री या अंडे के सभी भाग पूरी तरह से पके हुए हैं या नहीं।
विभाग की ओर से सलाह दी गई है कि कच्चे पोल्ट्री और पोल्ट्री उत्पादों को कभी भी कच्चा खाया जाने वाले पदार्थों के साथ मिलाकर खाने की अनुमति नहीं दी जानी चाहिए। खाद्य पदार्थों को तैयार करने में शामिल व्यक्तियों को पोल्ट्री या कच्चे पोल्ट्री उत्पादों को रखने या इधर-उधर करने पर अपने हाथों को साबुन और गर्म पानी से अच्छी तरह से धोना चाहिए और पोल्ट्री उत्पादों के संपर्क में आने वाली सतहों को साफ और कीटाणुरहित करना चाहिए। उन्होंने बताया कि पोल्ट्री में उक्त बीमारी की संभावना होने वाले क्षेत्रों में कच्चे अंडे का उपयोग उन खाद्य पदार्थों के साथ नहीं किया जाना चाहिए जो खाने से पहले पूरी तरह से पकाया नहीं जाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि हालांकि आज तक कोई भी ऐसा सबूत नहीं है कि एवियन इन्फ्लूएंजा से दूषित होने के बावजूद अच्छी तरह से पकाए गए पोल्ट्री या पोल्ट्री उत्पादों को खाने के बाद कोई व्यक्ति संक्रमित हो गया है फिर भी उपभोक्ताओं को अपनी तरफ से एहतियात बरतनी चाहिए।
