फरीदाबाद, 7 सितम्बर: थाना सेक्टर 17 पुलिस टीम ने मृतक हरि की हत्या के मामले में 1 साल से फरार चल रहे वांछित आरोपी संजय उर्फ टुंडा को गिरफ्तार करने में कामयाबी हासिल हुई है।
बता दें कि दिनांक 3/4 अगस्त 2020 की रात को आरोपी संजय ने अपने दो अन्य साथी विनोद निवासी राजस्थान और लक्ष्मी नारायण निवासी आगरा उत्तर प्रदेश के साथ मिलकर ओल्ड फरीदाबाद के फ्लाईओवर के नीचे बने फुटपाथ पर सोने को लेकर हुए विवाद पर ईट, पत्थर और डंडे से पीटकर हरी नामक युवक जोकि नेपाल का रहने वाला था उसकी हत्या कर शव को ओल्ड मेट्रो स्टेशन के पास छोड़कर फरार हो गए थे।
पुलिस को सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस ने मृतक हरि को बीके हॉस्पिटल एडमिट करा कर आरोपियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया गया था। दिनांक 10 अगस्त 2020 को उपचार के दौरान पीड़ित हरि की मृत्यु हो गई थी जिस पर मुकदमे में हत्या की धारा और इजाद की गई थी।
थाना सेक्टर 17 की पुलिस टीम उपरोक्त मामले को सुलझाते हुए दो आरोपियों विनोद और लक्ष्मी नारायण को 12 अगस्त 2020 को गिरफ्तार कर लिया था। आरोपी संजय उर्फ टुंडा तभी से फरार चल रहा था।
पुलिस प्रवक्ता सूबे सिंह ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि थाना सेक्टर 17 पुलिस टीम को सूचना मिली थी कि आरोपी हरिद्वार में मौजूद है। सूचना पर कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपी को हर की पौड़ी से गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
आरोपी को आज अदालत में पेश कर जेल भेजा गया है।
