फरीदाबाद: पुलिस आयुक्त श्री ओपी सिंह के दिशा निर्देश के तहत कार्य करते हुए क्राइम ब्रांच ऊंचागांव की टीम ने टेकचंद गैंग के एक सदस्य को अवैध हथियार सहित काबू किया है।
गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपी का नाम निखिल है जो फरीदाबाद के घुड़ासन गांव का रहने वाला है।
क्राइम ब्रांच ऊंचा गांव प्रभारी जगमिंदर सिंह की टीम ने गुप्त सूत्रों की सहायता से आरोपी को मंझावली बस स्टैंड से अवैध हथियार सहित गिरफ्तार किया था।
मौके पर आरोपी के कब्जे से 1 इटली मेड पिस्टल व 5 जिंदा कारतूस बरामद की गई जो आरोपी ने अपने किसी साथी से 30 हजार रूपए में ली थी।
आरोपी के खिलाफ थाना तिगांव में अवैध हथियार अधिनियम की धाराओं के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया है।
पुलिस पूछताछ में सामने आया कि आरोपी नोएडा के गैंगस्टर टेकचंद-डीलर गैंग का गुर्गा है और उसके दोस्त का असलाह भी उसके पास रखा हुआ है।
आरोपी की शिनाख्त पर उसके कब्जे से 1 देसी पिस्टल, 1 देसी कट्टा व 6 जिंदा कारतूस और बरामद किए गए।
पूछताछ में यह भी सामने आया कि आरोपी के खिलाफ थाना तिगांव में वर्ष 2017 में हत्या के प्रयास के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज हुआ था जिसमें आरोपी ने अपने साथियों के साथ मिलकर फरीदाबाद के गांव अलीपुर के रहने वाले दीपक को जान से मारने की कोशिश की थी।
पुलिस प्रवक्ता ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि आरोपी को उक्त मामले में 10 साल की सजा हो चुकी थी, जिसमे 32 महीने की जेल काटने के बाद आरोपी करीब 7 महीने पहले जमानत पर आया था। आरोपी अपने पास अवैध हथियार रखता था।
पूछताछ पूरी होने के पश्चात आरोपी को अदालत में पेश करके जेल भेज दिया गया है। असला सप्लाई करने वाले आरोपियो को जल्द तलाश गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा।
