आपको बता दें कि कल दिनांक 30 जुलाई को शाम करीब 6:00 बजे ट्रैफिक में तैनात होमगार्ड जवान सुनील सेहतपुर पल्ला बाईपास पर यातायात को सुचारू रूप से चलाने के लिए अपनी ड्यूटी पर तैनात था।
ड्यूटी के दौरान उन्होंने देखा कि गुड़गांव फरीदाबाद कैनाल पर काफी भीड़ जमा हो रही है और सभी जोर-जोर से चिल्ला रहे हैं।
जब उन्होंने नजदीक जाकर देखा तो एक व्यक्ति पानी में डूब रहा था होमगार्ड जवान ने अपनी जिंदगी की परवाह किए बिना, बहादुरी का परिचय देते हुए नहर मे डूबते हुए व्यक्ति को बचाया।
होमगार्ड जवान सुनील ने व्यक्ति को बाहर निकाला तब तक व्यक्ति के परिजन वहां पर पहुंच चुके थे और वह उसको लेकर घर चले गए।
वहां पर मौजूद कुछ लोगों ने कहा कि इतने लोग इकट्ठे होने के बावजूद डूबते हुए की जान बचाने के बजाय सभी लोग तमाशगीर बने हुए थे। किसी भी व्यक्ति ने डूबते हुए व्यक्ति की जान बचाने के लिए आगे कदम नहीं बढ़ाया।
ऐसे में होमगार्ड जवान सुनील कुमार की जितनी तारीफ की जाए उतनी कम है।
वहां पर मौजूद लोगों ने बताया कि व्यक्ति थोड़ा परेशान था और उसने अचानक नहर में छलांग लगा दी थी।
